Galanthus is a contemporary art gallery and café housed in a beautifully converted, 250-year-old barn in Wormbridge, Herefordshire. We show a variety of high quality contemporary art, including painting, prints, photography, sculpture, glass and ceramics, in exhibitions that change monthly. We also have a selection of gorgeous, designer-made jewellery. Events: We hold various special events in the gallery, cafe and in the gardens at Galanthus – including themed dinners, lively evening meals with music, celebratory lunches, holiday activities and garden walks. The Galanthus garden: The four-acre garden at Galanthus has been developing constantly since 2004. Originally part of the Clive family estate, it features many beautiful mature trees, a rill and duckpond, a woodland area, walled gardens and lawned areas with a variety of specimen shrubs and trees. Cafe: A contemporary cafe housed in a beautifully converted, 250-year-old barn, Galanthus fuses the old and the new to create a relaxing, airy space in which to meet, eat and drink. We serve delicious, homemade food, put together simply but stylishly with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients: Great brunches to kick-start your day, from 10am - The very best, illy coffee - Light lunches, scrumptious puddings and irresistible cakes - Homemade bread baked in our kitchen every day - Luscious ice cream made in the Galanthus dairy - Fresh herbs grown in our courtyard - A selection of wines, beers and refreshing soft drinks to go with your food. Galanthus Gallery jewellers: We always have a wide selection of gorgeous, designer-made jewellery on show in the gallery, including three makers who relate specifically to the current exhibition.
