Government proposes New Wind Farm off North Wales coast..

The Government announced today that they propose to build another Offshore Wind Farm 10 miles off Conwy and Denbighshire. The Wind Farm composed of 100 Wind Turbines, to be called Gwynt y Mor ( Windy Sea ), is due to be constructed in 2007.

The elecricity generated will power 1/3rd of all households in Wales and is welcomed by Green campaigners and Countryside groups.
