News of Wales : Floods in Llanrwst Conwy Valley.. again |
|
January 21 2008 The River Conwy once again broke it's banks in the Conwy Valley. Fields throughout the Valley were under water after several days of heavy rain on the Welsh mountains, but as of the 21 January the water had not reached the town of Llanrwst itself. It may look dramatic but the Conwy Valley is a flood plain for the Conwy River and the flooding occurs quite often. ............................................................................................. |
