Once the jewel in the crown of a popular holiday resort sadly today Colwyn Bay Pier is nothing more than an eyesore. It's troubled recent history culminated with bankruptcy for its owner Mr Stephen Hunt (now discharged) and disputes between Mr Hunt and Conwy County Council are continuing. Mr Hunt wants to draw attention to what he claims is unfair treatment by Conwy County Council and has decided to take the drastic action of going on hunger strike. Now on the third day of the hunger strike Mr Hunt is here shown being interviewed by Ian Lang of ITV on Wednesday 08 June 2011.
