Nestled amid rolling hills in the beautiful Welsh countryside, this contemporary hotel and golf course is located on the spectacular Gower Peninsula, just minutes away from Swansea and the M4. Once a successful dairy farm, Gower Golf Club has been completely renovated and extended to provide an 18-hole golf course and 4-star guest accommodation set in 2 barn conversions. A casual bar food menu is on offer daily, while a dinner menu can be arranged on request. The golf course was designed by Donald Steel and has been made to utilise every challenging aspect of the rolling countryside on which it is set. Practice areas and tuition from a P.G.A professional are available. Golfers may use the course free of charge after 6PM.
For events and special occasions, the clubhouse boasts an impressive function room that can seat up to 130 guests and cater for up to 160 guests for a buffet style menu. The Gower also enjoys a quiet country location ideal for meetings and conference. Guests will be welcome to one complimentary round of golf per stay if teeing off after 18:00. Subject to availability and handicap certificate required. Gower Golf Club has a reputation for outstanding customer care. As a result, it is one of the foremost wedding venues in Swansea and Gower. In 2007 Gower was nominated in the category of 'Best Golf Resort' in Wales by the World Travel Awards alongside some of the most famous golf venues in Wales.

With views towards the Brecon Beacons, the Beacons Restaurant serves fine cuisine prepared from locally sourced produce. All meals are complemented by an extensive list of wines from around the world. Booking in advance is recommended. For a quiet place to relax and enjoy a drink with fellow golfers, the golfers bar and lounge has a south facing balcony which overlooks the 18th green. A selection of tasty bar meals and snacks are available each day.
Just 15 minutes from the centre of Swansea, the Gower Peninsula was the first region in Britain to be designated an 'Area of Outstanding Beauty' in 1956. It features stunning coastline and countryside, with great attractions throughout.
By Car: From the M4: - Exit at junction 47. - Head for Swansea (second exit). - Continue for 1 mile on the A483. - Turn right at the roundabout for Llanelli (A484). - After approximately 1 mile, go straight across roundabout. - After half a mile there is a second roundabout; turn left for Gowerton (Harvester Public house on right-hand side). - Go under the bridge and straight through the traffic lights. - At the next set of traffic lights, go straight through (passing the veterinary surgery on right and keeping the 'Welcome To Gower' pub on your right). - Climb uphill for half a mile through houses. - The road narrows to a single track with passing places (beware you may have to reverse). - After approx 1 and a half miles the entrance to The Gower Golf Club can be found on the right-hand side. This journey is 4 miles from junction 47 and will take approx 10 minutes.
