Close to the river in beautiful Usk, The Three Salmons Hotel offers traditional charm, friendly service and good local food including freshly baked bread and home-grown vegetables.
The Three Salmons has an AA Rosette for its cuisine. The bar and restaurant menus feature fresh, local ingredients, and the large wine cellar has both Old and New World wines.
The rooms are different in size and reflect the character of the property. Some rooms are in the main building and the rest are in the coach house opposite to the hotel.
Up to 14 different walks start from the Three Salmons Hotel and follow country lanes, river banks and fine Welsh countryside. The river provides some salmon and trout fishing, and Usk Reservoir is a short drive away.
Within a 10-mile radius of Usk there are 15 golf courses, shops, and many cosy pubs and restaurants.
By Car:
- Take the M4 west for Newport and the exit at junction 24.
- Get on the A449 for Usk and continue for around one mile.
The hotel is on the corner of Porthycarne Street (B4598) and has free parking.
