Less than 10 minutes walk down the river from the hotel is the now world famous Ironbridge itself. This bridge has become a symbol of our bygone industrial heritage, the atmosphere of which has been recaptured by the many and varied Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites. All of the museum sites are within easy walking distance, or a short drive from the hotel. The Valley Hotel pre-dates the famous bridge by a quarter of a century and has historic links with the Darby family. The Chez Maw Restaurant is a stylish and relaxing place to dine offering excellent 2 AA Rosette awarded cuisine and a high standard of service. The à la carte menu offers a wide variety of dishes with English and continental influences, with a good selection of vegetarian dishes available.
