This stylish and spacious detached cottage, which has a Visit Britain 4 star Gold Award, is situated near to the owner’s farmhouse on a working farm and provides an excellent base. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm and see the animals, including the lambs (children should be accompanied by adults). Situated 3 miles from the village of Broughton, with shops and pubs, and within a short drive to the South Lakes Wild Animal Park at Dalton, Muncaster Castle with its gardens, owl centre and maze. Shops, pubs and restaurant 3 miles.
