Majestic Wastwater, the coast and unspoilt beaches are a short drive away. The adjoining cottages, with beams salvaged from shipwrecks on the Cumbrian coast and wood-burning stoves, lie in an idyllic rural location, forming part of a small former farmstead accessed from the fell road by a gated unmade track. Shop and pub 3 miles.
