For children, the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm - a 19th-century recreated farm, complete with heavy horses, vintage machinery and rare breds - will prove an interesting visit. Craven Arms is home to Stokesay Castle, the best and finest preserved 13th-century fortified manor house in England, as well as the Shroshire Hills Discovery Centre, which is ideal for all the family.
