Tennis court This restored and converted granary adjoining a beautiful rambling farmhouse is in a pleasant rural location 1 mile from the small town of Newent and within 10 miles of both Gloucester city and Ross on Wye. Newent is a little market town with the Three Choirs Vineyard. Gloucester boasts a magnificent cathedral, historic docks, National Waterways Museum and Guildhall which regularly hosts exhibitions and concerts, as well as a cinema. Welsh Border country is easily accessible, as is Cheltenham with its racecourse, Stow-on-the-Wold, Ledbury, Stroud and Burford. Slightly further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill and Warwick Castle are waiting to be discovered. Whether you choose to spend the day touring the area or prefer to have a comfortable, cosy evening around the woodburning stove, this is the perfect holiday destination at any time of year. There is a shared tennis court (bring own equipment, including correct shoes) and an outdoor swimming pool with poolside bar/summerhouse with sink and fridge.
