Criccieth, 3 miles, has a greater choice of amenities, including a golf course and a 13th-century castle, which from its peninsula setting, boasts some superb views over Tremadog Bay. The seaside resort of Pwllheli, 5 miles, is also worth a visit. Abersoch 10 miles.
