Due to their position on the north Wales’ coast they provide an ideal base to explore the area with Llandudno close by, and many historical sights including the castles at Caernarfon and Conwy. Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey is also within easy reach for day trips. Snowdonia National Park is nearby where you can enjoy the dramatic scenery which includes mountains, lakes and craggy ridges. For the active, there is walking, climbing, pony trekking or visit the Welsh Slate Museum, the Welsh Mountain Zoo and the Snowdon Mountain Railway which are amongst the many tourist attractions in the area.
