This spacious detached property is located on a quiet no-through road in a rural location and is ideal for families or groups. Carefully furnished throughout, the property enjoys magnificent views across Tremadog Bay as well as a sunny garden and patio area with direct access to the beach (via public railway crossing). The village of Criccieth offers a good selection of shops, restaurant and bars, and golf, fishing, horse riding and walking are all available locally. Criccieth Castle dominates the coastline with what remains of its twin towered gatehouse, and offers great views over Cardigan Bay to Harlech. Porthmadog offers a fascinating waterfront with the recently refurbished Maritime Museum, and across the harbour lies the famous Ffestiniog Railway which travels through stunning scenery that ranges from broad estuarine expanses to the deep green vales of the Vale of Ffestiniog and the slate-grey of Blaenau Ffestiniog. The other main lure of the town is the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion, where endangered buildings from all over the world have been rebuilt - it is probably best known as `The Village' in the 1960's British cult TV series The Prisoner. The enchanting village of Beddgelert nestles in some majestic mountain scenery, and is the starting point for some wonderful walks, including the famous walk to `Gelert's Grave' - the burial place of Prince Llywelyn's faithful hound. Within easy driving distance is Snowdon (the highest mountain in Wales), Caernarfon, with its walled town and castle, and the attractive resort of Abersoch - popular for its watersports, National Trust headlands and an excellent variety of sandy beaches.......
