Nestling within the village of Oxwich, in the stunning Gower Peninsula, Britian’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with outdoor heated swimming pool. Family days out can be enjoyed at the many sandy beaches in the area, with fabulous sand dunes, secret coves and dramatic cliff tops. Great walking awaits you from the doorstep, being on the public footpath of the Gower Coastal Walk and en-route to Slade Bay which has no vehicular access. There are many places of historical interest within the area, with two castles in Oxwich itself. Enjoy the local nature reserve packed with bird and plant life. Many of the beaches are renowned for great surfing and water sports. Outdoor pursuits and activities in abundance will be found in and around the surrounding area, surf school, horse riding, pony trekking, fishing, golfing and archery to name but a few. Take in some shopping at the bustling Mumbles, with individual shops, boutiques, art galleries, cafés and restaurants, or further afield at Swansea town centre, with extensive shopping, nightlife, cinema, bowling, leisure centre and indoor market. Shop and pub ½ mile.
