The historic town of Llantrisant with restaurant and craft centre is only 2 miles away. Golf and fishing are within easy reach.
Close to hand is the award-winning Rhondda Heritage Park as well as the Museum of Welsh Life at St. Fagans, a walk around Wales from Celtic times to the present day. Within a 45 minute drive to the north are the Brecon Beacons. To the south is the Glamorgan Heritage Coast offering superb walking terrain amidst some wonderful scenery.
