Ideal touring location
This spacious barn conversion on the outskirts of Caernarfon is ideally situated to explore North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. It has a double height ceiling in the living area and a decked area to the rear. Llanberis is only 8 miles away, or visit the Welsh Slate Museum, choose one of the several walks or take a train ride up to the top of Mount Snowdon. Caernarfon is also very close with its shops, restaurants, pubs as well as the castle. There are also many beaches nearby if you head towards the Lleyn Peninsula or Porthmadog. The Italianate village of Portmeirion where the 1960s TV series ’The Prisoner’ was filmed makes an interesting day out and is well worth a visit. The Isle of Anglesey is also within easy reach with many good beaches and places of interest from the historic castle at Beaumaris to the lighthouse and RSPB reserve at South Stack. There are also several golf courses in the area as well as riding, climbing, kayaking, sailing and bird watching. Shop and pub 1 mile.
