Very comfortable accommodation and great scenery. One thing that isn't advertised is the fact that the Lodge has Wi fi which is a great bonus

We had a lovely holiday. It was very peaceful and the neighbours horses were a nice surprise coming to see us at the gate. The shower was excellent, with a choice of water flow on the shower head. The range of dvds and books were good. We never went to the local shop so I can't comment on it. The shops were good in town a drive away and just before Holyhead there was a very large Tesco. It was homely and comfortable and a friendly greeting awaited us on our arrival. The garden was nice and the cottage was detached.

It was ideal for us lovely inside and very homely! Surrounded by lovely grounds and garden- not too far from the attractions and the bottle of wine on arrival was appreciated to.

This property was not really ideal as a holiday let.It is situated up a very steep, long narrow drive which means would be a problem to leave and return on foot although it has to be said there would be nowhere nearby you would want to walk to.There is no hot water to the kitchen,I don't think this is a new problem and doubt there has ever been a hot water supply to this kitchen. The owner knew all about it!In our 45 years of renting holiday lets we have always found the owners willing for you to arrive a little early if the place was empty the week before. We tried both numbers given but with no reply;when asked the owner said they had been out walking, the place was locked until 4pm.

We had a very nice holiday, with good weather. The lodge lived up to expectations, the only concern we had was the lack of a grip handle in the shower, as the floor was slippery and nothing to hold on to.
