The Granary is a very high quality upside-down barn conversion in an isolated location in Coed Morgan, near Abergavenny. There are two ground floor bedrooms - a double room with bath and basin in the room and a separate WC, and a twin room which can also be offered as a double by prior arrangement. There is a ground floor wet room too. Upstairs is the open plan living area, with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner, and picture windows to take in the countryside views. Outside is off road parking, and two private patios with furniture, as well as a lawned area and use of the owners gardens including large duckpond. The Granary makes a superb year-round base for families or friends to enjoy this lovely part of Wales.
Beautiful views can be enjoyed in every direction from the pretty market town of Abergavenny. The River Usk flows through the town, which offers plenty to keep every visitor happy including a castle with a museum; interesting churches; a bustling indoor market hall, and a great choice of shops, pubs and restaurants to appeal to all tastes and budgets. You’ll find something different to discover everyday here – there’s a wealth of fascinating abbeys, castles, mining museums, and the Roman amphitheatre and baths nearby at Caerleon to enjoy when you come to this lovely area. The Wye Valley and the stunning Brecon Beacons offer fabulous walking, cycling and nature watching opportunities to those visitors who love the great outdoors.
