5 Park Street is a cosy mid terraced cottage in the Mid Wales village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. The cottage has one double bedroom, a shower room, small kitchen and small sitting room with multi-fuel stove. Outside is a small shared lawn and private patio, with roadside parking available in the free car park opposite. 5 Park Street is an ideal base for enjoying the great walking and cycling in the area, including in the Berwyn Mountains, as well as touring Mid Wales and Shropshire.
At the foot of the Berwyn Mountains in the beautiful Tanat Valley lies the lovely village of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant. Only four miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales – the magnificent, 240-foot high waterfall of Pistyll Rhaeadr – this tranquil location is the one used in the successful film "The Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain". With two general stores, a newsagents, a post office, a butchers, two pubs and two cafes, this peaceful village has everything you could possibly need during your stay. There are many great walking trails through the lovely countryside including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Also nearby are Chirk Castle, Powys Castle and Gardens, the medieval towns of Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
