The 14th Maindee Festival programme is about water in Maindee and across the planet.
The Maindee Festival Association is an organisation of volunteers. We formed in 1997 to promote and celebrate the diversity of the people who live and work in the Maindee area of Newport.
You can join in our workshop programme to explore this theme through drama, music, dance, photography and visual arts.
Then join in on the big day when the Parade hits the streets of Newport on its way to our festival site at Maindee Primary School. Relax, enjoy some great food and market stalls, then soak up a free afternoon of world music, stories, drama and arts workshops.
