Letterston, Pembrokeshire
Letterston (Welsh: Treletert) is a village in the north of the county of Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales. The village stands on the A40 road between Fishguard (some 6 miles north) and Haverfordwest (10 miles south). It lies to the east of the Western Cleddau River and to the west of the Ysgybor Mountain (232m).
Village Centre

Village Centre Local attractions and amenities include the Jubilee Pub, the Something's Cooking Fish and Chip Shop, a butchers shop, the Memorial Hall and playing fields, village stores, an outdoor go karting track, a news agents and confectionery shop. The Harp at Letterston is a family owned and run, family friendly pub and restaurant standing on the edge of the village.

Walks, Cycle Trails and Other Activities There are a number of trails and rights of way criss-crossing the local landscape including walks skirting the Priskilly Forest in the valley of the Western Cleddau River.
It is a 7-mile drive to the beach at Aber Mawr where you can join up with the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Alternatively, head north to the harbour at Fishguard, where once again you can sample the delights of the Coastal Path.
Beaches

Beaches Newport Beach :
It is a 14 mile drive to Newport beach – a vast sandy mile long beach backed by sand dunes. A popular destination for all types of watersports enthusiasts, swimming, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and fishing are among the activities that take place here. The estuary and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Coastal Path also attracts bird watchers and walkers alike.
Goodwick Parrog Beach :
A sand and shingle beach overlooking Fishguard Harbour. Safe bathing and popular with families. The popular Ocean Lab features 'Ollie the octopus', cyber cafe, ocean quest, coffee shop, and tourist information centre.

Attractions Priskilly Forest Golf Club, on the edge of the village, is renowned for its warm welcome and challenging course set in picturesque parkland. The Golf Club is approached through a scenic drive, and is set in mature parkland surrounded by rhododendrons, oaks and sycamore - a natural habitat where wild flowers and birds prevail.
Llys y Fran Reservoir with its cycle trails is a 10 mile drive away. Llys y Frân is a day out everyone can enjoy in a beautiful lake-side setting whether you are looking to fish, sail, walk, cycle or to enjoy the spectacular views of the 100ft dam and the surrounding countryside.
St Davids (the smallest city in the UK), is a 14 mile drive away. With St Davids Cathedral and the medieval ruin of St Davids Bishops Palace. The city of St Davids itself has wonderful galleries, small shops and is just a few miles from White Sands - a magnet for surfers.
Oakwood Theme Park is 10 miles away as the crow flies.
