Walford is a village in the south of Herefordshire, England. The village lies south west of Ross-on-Wye, north west of Drybrook, south east of Peterstow and north of Welsh Bicknor. Nearby towns and villages include Goodrich, Coughton, Howle Hill, Pencraig and Hom Green.
Walford sits next to the River Wye which flows through some of the most attractive and varied countryside in Britain.
The Wye Valley Walk cuts through the village as it meanders its way through the bends in the river. During its journey the Wye descends 680mtrs and at approximately 244 km long, it is one of Britain's major rivers. Close by is the renowned Goodrich Castle
