Llangaffo is a village in the south west of Anglesey, North Wales. The village sits high on a ridge over looking fine pastureland, with glorious views toward the hills of Snowdonia and the Menai Strait. Renowned for the old church dedicated to St Caffo and the cross inscribed gravestones that have survived in the churchyard. The earliest stone in the collection dates from the 7th Century. The Anglesey Coastal Path passes within a few miles of the village and close by are some of the finest beaches in the country. And for those interested in the heritage of the British Isles there are probably more ancient sites and historic monuments within a twenty mile radius of Llangaffo than any other village in Wales.
