Bishopston lies south west of Swansea on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The Gower is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are three beautiful beaches in close proximity to Bishopstown. The first, Brandy Cove, is a secluded spot only accessible via steps, offering picturesque views across the peninsula. Caswell Bay is a long stretch of sand which attracts visitors each year for its sea-canoeing, surfing and swimming opportunities, as well as its coastal path to Langland Bay. There is a car park close to the beach with handy disabled spaces, but please note that there is a charge.
Lastly, Pwlldu Bay is a popular beach, mainly for its swimming and sea-canoeing. It is an interesting place, with beautiful golden sand stamped with stones and boulders. Dog owners will be pleased to hear that their pets are allowed on the beach. ....
