Although it was at its most popular during the Edwardian era, Rhosneigr is still a thriving seaside resort set in one of the most beautiful places in Anglesey, North Wales. |
With three beaches ranging from sandy shores to pebbled banks, there is plenty for children to do. Rhosneigr is also a haven for sports enthusiasts: activities include surfing, boat fishing, golf, kite surfing, underwater diving, water surfing and swimming. Not only are sports restricted to the sea shores, but there is also nearby Maelog Lake, which is ideal for beginners. There are also plenty of beautiful walks amongst the surrounding countryside, with majestic views across the bay. In the surrounding area you can find the impressive Anglesey Model Village, located between Dwyran and Newborough along the A4080 road, and the Anglesey Sea Zoo, which brings the ocean indoors, is just 28 minutes away in Brynsiencyn, south of Rhosneigr. |

Accommodation is aplenty in Rhosneigr, consisting of luxurious hotels, cosy bed and breakfasts and spacious self-catering cottages. In the village centre you will also find enough pubs and restaurants to keep you happy. With all these facilities and activities on offer, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t visit Rhosneigr…
