We
have put together a great selection of links to Mountain Bike Maps of
Wales. On this page we present links to some of the best trails in "Snowdonia", "North
East Wales", Brecon Beacons,
Nant yr Arian and many more feature trails with breathtaking
views, some with gut busting loops, some with unbelievable downhills and
some easy rides suitable for all the family :
Between them the links to the maps provide descriptions of the
best mountain bike trails in Wales, many include colour photographs,
illustrations and detailed mountain bike maps of each of the routes.
The Snowdonia map covers : the Gwydyr Forest trails
; the Coed Y Brenin trails ; the Llanberis
and Mount Snowdon trails ; and the Conwy
Mountain trails.
And the North East Wales guide covers : the Clwydian
Hills trails ; the Berwyn Mountains trails
; the Mynydd Hiraethog trails ; the Coed
Llandegla trails ; and the Llyn Vyrnwy trails
.
Some sites class the routes as either Family; Classic;
Expert or Epic. It can be difficult to grade mountain bike routes, but
the guides aim to help you choose the ideal ride for your level of expertise
and fitness by offering technical grades for degrees of difficulty from
1-5.
They highlight
the information that is most relevant to mountain biking, whilst also supplying
additional information to enable the rider to get the best out of the individual
trails.
