Llaneilian is a village in the north east of Anglesey in the north of Wales, UK. The village is renowned for the old church of St Eilian which sits in the centre of the peaceful village. Close by is the beautiful headland of Point Lynas, popular with anglers and those who just wish to do a bit of wildlife spotting, including searching for porpoises and dolphins that are becoming ever more common off the North Wales and Anglesey coastline. Llaneilian beach at Porth Eilian is popular for watersports especially sea kayaks for exploring the rocky coastline, and fishing trips are available just a 2 mile drive away in the port of Amlwch.

Within 5 miles of the village can be found several of Anglesey's most impressive ancient and historic sites including the neolithic Burial Chamber at Lligwy and the Lligwy Hut Group, a well preserved example of a settlement built by the native population of Anglesey during the latter part of the Roman occupation of Wales. And for those who like to take a stroll along the coastline there is no better start point than Llaneilian that sits adjacent to the Anglesey Coastal Path.
