There are two 18 hole courses:- Wales National: This 7413 yards
parkland course features all greens being constructed to USGA standards
with water being a predominant feature.
The Lake Course: This 6438 yard par 72 course is aptly named, with water

Cottrell Park is situated in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan, located
5 miles west of Cardiff. It is a 36 hole course situated in historic parkland,
featuring tall, over-hanging and mature trees. The Mackintosh course provides
6,407 challenging yards off the white tees and has been designed around
the features of the rolling parkland. This championship course has been
selected for a number of Welsh Golf Union and Welsh Ladies Golf Union events
as well as County Matches, which is indeed a compliment to a course so young.
The Mackintosh course will test golfers of all standards to the best of
their abilities. The Button Gwinnett course offers breathtaking views sweeping
northwards as far as the Brecon Beacons and southwards over the Bristol

Glamorganshire Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course situated in the seaside
town of Penarth on the outskirts of Cardiff. It is the second oldest golf
club in South Wales. Although being near the sea, the Glamorganshire is
not a links, but a parkland course on undulating ground on the edge of what
are now Cosmeston Lakes. It was at the Glamorganshire Golf Club that the
Stableford scoring system was first tried by its creator, Dr. Frank Stableford
in September 1898,
