Capel Garmon is renowned for the neolithic burial chamber that is located on the outskirts of the village. Located high above the Conwy Valley and the popular inland resort of Betws y Coed, the village offers a single pub and restaurant and marvelous views of the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia.
| The village is well worth a visit if only for the delightful views from the winding country lanes. The old chapel in the village also offers a prime viewing spot for the late residents of Capel Garmon with tombstones placed looking out across the Conwy Valley. They are indeed "tombs with a view".
