This small family run caravan and camping park is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park on the border between Carmarthenshire and Powys. The site has received wide acclaim for its unrivalled views over the spectacular Fan Brycheiniog, the beginning of the Carmarthen Fans, in this location so noted for its scenery that it has been used for the filming of major productions including King Arthur by the Disney Corporation.
Nearby Attractions Take a day off from mountain walking - a drive of approximately one hour will take you to a variety of exciting places including the city of Cardiff with its numerous attractions including The Museum of Welsh Life, the Millenium Stadium and Cardiff Bay. Heading south The Gower Peninsula is in easy reach, as is Pembrey Country Park and the Millenium Coastal Path at Llanelli. To the west the world-renowned coastline of Cardigan Bay with its many opportunities for dolphin and seal watching is a trip not to be missed. Boat trips to explore the coastline depart from Aberaeron and Newquay.
Local attractions include spectacular waterfalls, caves, The Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mine, fishing, pony trekking and for the keen gardener we are situated only a short drive from The National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens.

Finding Us - View Map  From Llandeilo, Haverfordwest or Fishguard; follow the A40 to Llangadog and take the right hand turning signed 'Brynamman'. in the village of Llangadog take the right hand fork, again signed Brynamman and follow this road for 3 miles. Ttake the left hand turning signed for 'Llanddeusant' and follow this road around to the right. Continue on this road for approximately 3 miles, during which time you will pass through the hamlet of Twynllanan and past the Llanddeusant village hall. On approaching a small crossroads you will see the Cross Inn public house on your left. Tturn left here for the entrance to the Black Mountain Caravan and Camping Park.
From Brecon take the A40 heading for Llandovery. Turn left in the village of Trecastle by the Castle Coaching Inn. Continue on this road for 9 miles during which time you will cross the two cattle grids which enclose the free roaming sheep and mountain ponies. the Black Mountain Caravan and Camping Park is located approximately one mile after the second cattle grid by a small crossroads where you will see the Cross Inn public house on your right.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds cannot be given unless written notice of cancellation is received at least 2 weeks before the arrival date booked. Refunds cannot be given for bad weather.
Other Policies: One car per party may be parked with unit / static free of charge, extra vehicles may be charged £1.00 per night
Bookings for the August Bank Holiday must be accompanied by full payment
