The Hotel has been in existence for some 300 years - starting its life as a Coaching Inn as evidenced by the high Archway - for stage coaches to access the courtyard at the rear of the Hotel where once there were stables - now a large private Car Park for Hotel patrons.It is a 'listed building' - but although the outside has remained unaltered - we think the Hotel inside is very comfortable - all ....
